About Me.
I am Tony Adelfio, owner and trainer of Pine Hill K9.
I am a LIMA trainer. I believe in developing the K9/handler relationship building from positive associations and engagements. Crate training, leash training, and utilizing all four quadrants of operant conditioning are paramount in my training philosophies. I can coach you, the handler on how to best develop the K9/handler relationship with a personalized plan.
I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, an AKC Fetch Judge, and an apprentice dock diving judge with United Dock Diving. I am available for hire by hosting clubs as well as offer virtual evaluations as permitted by the American Kennel Club (AKC).
I operated Pine Hill K9 on a part time basis. I work around other family, work, and personal K9 obligations. As a result, I only accept a limited number of clients at a time. I do not take on more than I can personally dedicate the time you need. If i am not currently accepting new clients, please check back! I do also refer clients to other acceptable trainers. If you are a trainer in the area, feel free to reach out to me. I would love to meet you, evaluate your training style and abilities for possible addition to my referral list.
SERVICES AND FEES
In Person Coaching
This is my most common service. I will meet with you for each session at a location of your choice. This can be your home, mine, a public space or even in the Caribbean (I'm game). Sessions are approx 30 min. I will teach you everything i know to help you develop your relationship with your dog. You will have the ability to call/text/email questions, pics, and brags anytime you want!

Virtual Coaching
This is for my friends that live in the Caribbean or somewhere other than East Texas. I will meet with you for each session at a location of your choice. Literally since it's virtual. Sessions are approx 30 min. I will teach you everything i know to help you develop your relationship with your dog. You will have the ability to call/text/email questions, pics, and brags anytime you want!

Board and Train
This specialized service is not for every dog. I will take your dog into my home and love it as my own for a minimum of 1 month. I only accept B&T's that are a minimum of 6 months old, and are verifiably crate and leash trained. This is NOT for you to pawn off your trouble maker while you head off on the Caribbean vacation of a lifetime. So don't even think about it. We will still meet during this time so that I can coach you on what your dog will be training you.

AKC Evaluations
Trick Dog Evaluation
I am available for hire by hosting clubs or by dog owners. Evaluations may be done virtually from anywhere in the world. You simply record your dog performing and send me a link to the video(s) for evaluation
Canine Good Citizen Evaluation
I am certified by the AKC as an evaluator for the AKC Family Dog Program. This includes S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Community Good Citizen (CGCA), and Urban Good Citizen (CGCU). Hosting Clubs may inquire and negotiate rates.
AKC Fetch Judge
I am a certified AKC Fetch judge. I am available for hire by hosting clubs.
